SGS@40

In 2019 we’re celebrating 40 years of the Scottish Glass Society!

With the help of Creative Scotland’s Open Project Fund we’re creating a programme of exhibitions and artists talks celebrating both the rich history of glass in Scotland and the innovative contemporary glass scene.

The funding is also helping us look to the future, assessing how we can continue to support and promote both the work of its members and the wider glass sector beyond the 40th anniversary celebrations. This will involve using feedback from members and key players in the sector to create a five-year development plan for the society.
