The Scottish Glass Society is seeking new board members to support its membership as we plan for the future.
SGS is celebrating it’s 40th anniversary this year and, as well as honouring the occassion with a range of events and exhibitions, we have been taking a look at what we do and how members and the wider sector would like to see us develop our work. We will be using this research to identify opportunities for funded activity going forward.
We are now actively seeking board members from an arts administration / management background with knowledge and experience of working in the visual arts / craft sector to help us explore our potential.
Commitment – roughly 10 meetings per year.
This is a pro-bono position, with reasonable travel expenses paid and the ability to attend meetings via phone conference or Skype.
