Profile

I am a professor, sculptor and glass artist at Shandong University of Art and Design in China. I achieved my PhD at the National Glass Centre at the University of Sunderland in 2016. My glass work focuses on contemporary inside painted glass sculptures. The traditional Chinese snuff bottle painting techniques were used and innovated. The guiding ideology of the work is the harmony between Yin and Yang of traditional Chinese Taoist philosophy. My works reflect the idea that man and nature should live in harmony.
