
Leona Stewart Glass
Profile
Leona designs and creates unique and colourful fused glass gifts made in Ayrshire, Scotland. She designs various ranges of Scottish birds, fish, butterflies and Dichroic glass jewellery, all in uplifting, bright colours of glass with hand-painted details and mounted on locally sourced wood bases. She is inspired by her coastal surroundings and the local wildlife and birds. The wonderful colours that glass offers are so important – you can never have too much colour in your life!
Her glass can be found in many galleries and shops in the UK including the Burrell Collection, Glasgow, The Hairy Coo Shop, Perthshire, Southwell Minster Shop, The British Emporium, Bakewell.
Leona has been a full time glass artist for over 20 years.
She is a member of Scottish Glass Society & Contemporary Glass Society.
