KayBee Glass
I make stained glass with a difference; new takes on traditional themes, purpose-driven art.
Profile
I am a self-taught stained glass artist working from my small home studio near Edinburgh. All of my work is copper foil although I sometimes use lead for framing. I begin with my own sketch or drawing; every piece is unique. I create purpose-driven art, incorporating images or words to highlight historical and contemporary injustice. I also love recreating mountain silhouettes, particulary Scottish munroes but I will venture further afield for the right mountain! I am a tutor with Edinburgh’s Adult Education Programme offering beginners’ stained glass classes.
