The Annual Members Exhibition by the Scottish Glass Society
Wednesday, 16th September to Wednesday, 23rd September 2026
Private View / Opening on Tuesday, 15th September 2026 at 6 pm
Updated closing Date for Applications – Friday 21 August 2026
We hope the exhibition will contain as wide a range of glassmaking techniques as possible. We challenge glass practitioners to create glass art works that reveal the layers of difficulty, technique, patience, and precision involved in our craft.
Connections invites you to explore how people, places, and materials interrelate. You could consider connections that are physical (structures, joints, seams), social (community, culture, migration), ecological (habitat, cycles, repair), historical (craft lineages, local industry), or experiential (memory, touch, light). We welcome works that reveal the intertwined nature of process and concept—how heat, gravity, chemistry, and chance connect to meaning. Collaborative and cross‑disciplinary submissions are encouraged.
The exhibition is open to all SGS Members. You are invited to submit up to 3 works of art in any form of glass. Glass must make up at least 50% of the exhibit.
The application form can be downloaded here. Please return to the SGS Secretary at sgssecretary@hotmail.co.uk by 21 August 2026.

We look forward to seeing your creative works 😊
