Call out for new makers
We are delighted to announce that we are now open for applications to be a part of the treat Store’s Autumn/ Winter 2015 and Spring/ Summer 2016 online collection.
Having launched in October of last year, the treat Store has continued to grow in sales, popularity and awareness during the winter months & our new Spring Summer range has been another hit. Following the successful the launch night in October and the pop up Craft + Coffee Crawl in December, we now look forward to the next year and a new selection of high quality work and talented makers to add to the existing talent within the shop.
What we need from you
If you would like the chance to be a part of this exciting online retail space please submit 5 high quality images showing a fair representation of your work. We also require an artist’s statement & CV and a list of the retail prices relevant to the work whose images you have submitted. Work accepted for treat Store must be available for one year.
The application should be emailed to our treat project officer Beth Lamont at beth.lamont@fcac.co.uk by midnight, Tuesday 5 May 2015.
If you are successfully selected we would require to have the work sent to our office in St Andrews for a few weeks in June for a photoshoot.
All applications will then go forward to be assessed by our panel of judges.
The panel consists of;
– Beth Lamont (treat Project officer)
– Susan Davis ( FCA&C Programme manager)
– Helen Voce (Cove Park)
– Maggie Broadley ( Craft Town Scotland)
We will then let you know within two weeks if you have been successful or not.
