The short film schedule looks to showcase a cross section of international diverse and engaging series of short films curated and directed by female artists and filmmakers using glass as the predominant feature.
The short films will be shown during the Glass, Meet the Future Programme at the Toyama Glass Art Museum in Japan where we will be premiering ‘The Soul of a Statue’ and a series of documentaries featuring artists across the ISGNE network.
Supported by British Council Scotland, Creative Scotland and Creative Europe.
We are looking for films with a strong creative narrative. And to bring together a collection that illustrates the breadth and wonder of female glass artists lives, skills, environments and materials from across the globe.
All genres are encouraged, from glass art film, documentaries, to story-led films. We are keen to see a range of approaches in glass technique, story and film-making. North Lands Creative encourages submissions from every corner of our female glass community and which celebrate the diversity of the sector.
