Want to figure out what went wrong with that glass piece that didn’t turn out as expected? Join our crack team of detectives to investigate!
Every artist and maker has failures – it’s part of the learning process! But what caused your glass object to turn out ‘not quite right’?
In this session, led by experienced glass artist, Stephen Richard from Verrier, will investigate why problems occur and what you can do to avoid them.
Disciplines covered: Leaded glass, kiln-formed glass
Things to bring: Objects that have failed or not gone as expected along with s much information as possible on what methods and materials you used, schedules and descriptions of objectives and results. If the objects themselves are not available, photographs can be used.
This is a collaborative session and we encourage you to share your own experiences.________________________________________________________________________
