Craft Scotland Summer Show 2018 – open for applications

The Summer Show, Craft Scotland’s annual selling exhibition, is now open for applications.

A bit about the show
Held on the entire second floor of White Stuff on George Street, Edinburgh, the Craft Scotland Summer Show showcases the work of over 35 Scottish designer/makers. Running for three weeks in August as part of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, it attracts over 5,000 people. In 2017 the show generated over £29k of sales.

Who is the opportunity suitable for?
This opportunity is suitable for both established and emerging makers who produce affordable, high-quality contemporary craft and is a great opportunity for makers to sell their work to local and international visitors during Edinburgh’s busy Festival period.

How to apply
The deadline for applications is 5pm Thursday 18 January. A selection panel will meet to review all applications and select the successful makers. Members of the selection panel will be Allyson Gee of Craft Scotland,  Rosamund West, Editor-in-chief of The Skinny and Lewis Smith, Sales & Retail Manager at Dundee Contemporary Arts.
