Craft Scotland is delighted to be partnering with Springboard Events Ltd to create The Craft Gallery. The Craft Gallery will be a dedicated section within Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring designed to showcase the talent and variety of craft makers in Scotland to a trade audience. Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring will be held in the SECC in Glasgow, in January 2016.
Scotland’s Trade Fair Spring is organised by Springboard Events Ltd on behalf of Clarion Events Ltd. The Fair takes place over three days in January at Glasgow’s SECC. The 2015 show incorporated three Specialist Areas, and for January 2016 a new Area, The Craft Gallery, will be introduced.
The Craft Gallery is a partnership between Craft Scotland and Springboard Events Ltd which will be a separate section within the larger show. The new area will create an opportunity for Scottish makers to promote their work to around 5,000 trade buyers from home and overseas. A discounted stand rate has been negotiated for those successful in being selected for The Craft Gallery.
We are looking for approximately 30 to 35 makers to take a stand each within the section. This opportunity is suitable to makers who are relatively new to trade and makers more established in selling to trade who wish to maximise their orders from Scotland and beyond.
An application fee of £15 must be submitted with all applications.
Successful makers will be expected to pay the costs of their own stand to Springboard Events Ltd.

Deadline for receipt of applications is 5pm on Friday 24 April 2015.
A selection panel will meet in early May to review all applications and select the successful makers. All applicants will be notified regarding the outcome of their application by mid-May.
