Profile

I work commercially as Alan Robinson Glass, based in Edinburgh and Glasgow. I design, make and fit stained glass windows, doors panels, skylights, etc. in contemporary and traditional styles. Skilled in the traditional techniques of glass etching, painting and silver stain, I carry out repairs, restoration and reproduction of historical stained glass.

I exhibit as an artist, creating in glass, painting and sculpture. My art is influenced by patterns, natural forms and pre-history artifacts.
